WARRANTY

Warranty

Watches of London are confident of the quality of the mechanical timepieces we carry. That said, in spite of countless tests and certifications, mechanical watch movements are not entirely immune to errors. Which, in itself, is a reason why mechanical timepieces are fascinating for many avid watch collectors. As a mark of RAW's confidence in the timepieces we carry as well as our commitment to you, we guarantee each timepiece for a period of 1 year, beginning from the date of purchase, against any manufacturing or material defects. For Poljot International timepieces, the warranty is for a period of 2 years. Terms and conditions apply for this warranty to be valid, as detailed below.

What the warranty covers?

Only timepieces sold by Watches of London and through www.watchesoflondon.com will be covered under the terms of this warranty.

The warranty covers material and manufacturing defects. During the warranty period, the warranty covers the following components of your timepiece:

  • watch movement,
  • hands, and
  • dial.

Should the above mentioned components be found to be defective in material or workmanship under normal use, these will be repaired. In some instances, your timepiece may need to be replaced. Watches of London are glad to inform you that these repairs or replacement will be carried out at no extra repair charges to you during the warranty period.

For those of you not residing in the UK, you will be pleased to know that there is no exception to the above when you are shipping your timepiece for service from outside of the UK.

There is no charge for the repair or replacement of the watch during the warranty period, and no extra charges for postage, handling, insurance and related costs to get the watch shipped back to you after the repair.

What the warranty does not cover?

Please note that the warranty does not cover:

  • watch case, crystal/glass, crown/stem, finishes, watch strap or bracelet,
  • damage resulting from improper handling, lack of care, accidents or normal wear and tear, and
  • water damage resulting from wear under conditions exceeding the watch manufacturer's water resistance limitations.

The warranty is rendered null and void should your timepiece have been damaged by accident, negligence, unauthorized service, or factors other than defects in material or workmanship. In cases where improper repair has taken place, or warranty service has been performed by someone other than Watches of London , this warranty will also be void.

How long repairs will take?

MovementYour timepiece will be repaired and returned to you within 6 to 8 weeks from the date of receipt of your timepiece. In instances whereby this time frame does not hold, you will be notified accordingly by a member of Watches of London . We strongly encourage you to send your package to us with registered, insured and a traceable postal service.
